Join the City of Chicago for The Edgewater Preservation Project, a public art exhibition examining the identity of the Edgewater neighborhood in relation to its status in the City and Midwest.

Local artist Bianca Sarah Bova and curator Paul Amenta show new site-specific work in conjunction with the SiTE:LAB Artifact Project. These installations spanning the Downey Mansion retain cultural history, compressing the narrative value of place into object.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Full-service bar on site. For more information on SiTE:LAB and its continuing endeavor to construct in-depth histories of unique objects from the Grand Rapids Public Museum, visit http://site-lab.org/

The Downey Mansion is located one block east of the Granville Red Line Station and is at the Sheridan/Granville stop on the 151 Sheridan CTA Bus route. Parking is available on site, as well as on Granville Avenue and Broadway Avenue.
